Low-Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole
This delicious casserole delivers all the indulgent taste of a bacon cheeseburger—minus the bun. It’s a filling, low-carb dish packed with savory beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar. Perfect for keto diets and gluten-free lifestyles, it’s a comforting and satisfying weeknight meal.
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Brown the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Break it apart as it cooks. Drain any grease, then add garlic and onion powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes more, then remove from heat.
Step 3: Prep Bacon & Cheese
If the bacon isn’t already cooked, fry it until crispy and chop into bite-sized pieces. Shred the cheddar if using a block.
Step 4: Layer the Dish
Add the cooked beef to your baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the bacon pieces on top. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture evenly over the meat and bacon. Top with half of the shredded cheese.
Step 5: Bake
Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly.
Step 6: Serve
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions if you like.
