As she stated in an interview with E-Talk, “I really stepped away for a long time…That was primarily for the kids, so instead of hanging out with me, they would have their own sense of identity.”

Additionally, her transformative experience on “Little House on the Prairie” inspired her to write a memoir titled “The Way I See It: A Look Back at My Life on Little House.”
In June 2022, Anderson made a public appearance at the closing ceremony of the prestigious Monte Carlo TV Festival, demonstrating her enduring connection to the entertainment industry.
