Hearty Homemade Chili

| Crushed tomatoes | 2 cans (28 oz each) |
| Chili powder | 2 tbsp |
| Ground cumin | 1 tbsp |
| Fresh cilantro, chopped | 1 tbsp |

Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly. Drain excess fat.
Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables
Add the chopped bell peppers, onions, and jalapeños to the pot. Cook on low heat until softened and fragrant.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
Stir in the beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and cilantro. Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.
Step 4: Simmer
Reduce the heat and let the chili simmer gently for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a little water if it becomes too thick.
Step 5: Adjust Seasoning & Serve
Taste and season with salt, pepper, and hot sauce as needed. Serve warm with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped onions, or fresh cilantro.
