This easy slow cooker dessert combines rich peanut butter, a silky custard filling, and tender pieces of pie crust into one comforting treat. Made with just five simple ingredients, it delivers old-fashioned flavor with very little effort. Whether served warm or chilled, this creamy peanut butter dessert is perfect for family gatherings, potlucks, or anytime you’re craving a homemade sweet.
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Creamy peanut butter | 1 jar (14–16 oz) |
| Frozen raw pie crust, broken into pieces | 1 (9-inch) crust |
| Whole milk | 2 cups |
| Granulated sugar | 1 cup |
| Large eggs, lightly beaten | 3 |
Lightly coat the inside of a 4–6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray or a small amount of butter. Break the frozen pie crust into small pieces and distribute them evenly across the bottom.
Spoon the peanut butter over the crust pieces, spreading it as evenly as possible across the surface.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until blended. Gradually add the milk, whisking until smooth. Carefully pour the mixture into the slow cooker over the peanut butter and crust. Leave the layers undisturbed and do not stir.
Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. The dessert is ready when the edges appear set while the center remains slightly soft.
Turn off the slow cooker and keep the lid on. Let the pie rest for 20 to 30 minutes to allow the filling to finish setting before serving.
With its creamy custard texture, rich peanut butter flavor, and tender bites of crust throughout, this slow cooker dessert offers a nostalgic taste of homemade comfort. Best of all, it comes together with just a handful of ingredients and minimal preparation.
