This is my first time trying this cooking method, and the results are truly remarkable!

This Oven-Baked Sausage and Bell Pepper Tray makes weeknight cooking effortless. Everything—Italian sausages, peppers, and onions—roasts together on one pan, giving you a flavorful, satisfying dinner without a pile of dishes to wash afterward.

Oven-Baked Sausage and Bell Pepper Tray

Ingredients

IngredientQuantity
Italian sausages1 pound
Bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced2
Large onion, sliced1
Olive oil2 tablespoons
Dried oregano1 teaspoon
Salt and pepperTo taste
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)As needed

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare:
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the Italian sausages out on a large sheet pan or disposable aluminum tray.

2. Add Veggies & Seasoning:
Arrange the sliced bell peppers and onion around the sausages. Drizzle everything with the olive oil, then sprinkle on the dried oregano along with salt and pepper. Give the contents of the tray a light toss so the seasoning and oil coat all the ingredients.

3. Bake:
Place the tray in the oven and roast for 25–30 minutes. The sausages should be nicely browned and fully cooked, and the vegetables should be soft and caramelized around the edges.

4. Garnish & Serve:
Remove the tray from the oven and let it rest briefly. Top with fresh parsley before serving.
