Honey Butter Skillet Corn

Honey Butter Skillet Corn
This easy side dish comes together quickly and adds a sweet and savory touch to any meal. Frozen corn is transformed in minutes with a luscious sauce made from butter, honey, and cream cheese, creating a comforting, crowd-pleasing favorite.

Ingredients:

IngredientAmount
Salted butter (preferred)2 tablespoons
Honey2 tablespoons
Frozen corn (16 oz package)1 bag
Cream cheese, cubed2 ounces
Salt¼ teaspoon
Ground black pepper¼ teaspoon

Instructions:

1. Cook the Corn:
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter along with the honey. Once melted and bubbling, add in the frozen corn. Stir occasionally and cook for about 5–8 minutes, or until the corn is heated through.

2. Make It Creamy:
Add the chunks of cream cheese, along with the salt and pepper. Stir well and continue to cook for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until the cream cheese has fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

3. Serve Warm:
Dish out immediately while the corn is hot and the sauce is silky.

Notes:

  • This recipe serves approximately 6 people as a side.
  • You can use any brand of frozen corn, but a blend of white and yellow corn offers extra color and appeal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge and gently reheated when needed.

Let me know if you’d like to adapt it for fresh corn or make it dairy-free!
