Cream Cheese Squares: Easy, Creamy, and Delicious

These Cream Cheese Squares deliver a rich, velvety bite every time. A buttery graham cracker base supports a smooth, lightly tangy cream cheese layer, creating a simple yet irresistible dessert. They’re easy to prepare and perfect for sharing—or keeping all to yourself.

Ingredients

Crust

IngredientAmount
Graham cracker crumbs1 ½ cups
Melted butter½ cup

Filling

IngredientAmount
Cream cheese, softened16 oz
Granulated sugar1 cup
Vanilla extract1 tsp
Large eggs2
All-purpose flour¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Create the Crust:
Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, stirring until the texture resembles damp sand. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of your baking dish.
  3. Mix the Filling:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla, blending until everything is well combined.
  4. Add Eggs and Flour:
Beat in the eggs one at a time. Sprinkle in the flour and mix just until the batter is smooth—avoid overmixing.
  5. Assemble & Bake:
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust, smoothing the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, just until the edges are set and the center has a slight wobble.
  6. Cool & Chill:
Let the squares cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours so the filling can firm up properly.
  7. Slice & Enjoy:
Cut into neat squares and serve cold. Creamy, buttery, and absolutely delicious!
