Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake
A bright, zesty dessert that’s as simple to make as it is delicious. With tangy lemon filling, creamy cream cheese swirls, and a buttery cake topping, everything is layered together and baked until golden and gooey.
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Lemon cake mix | 1 box (15.25 oz) |
| Lemon pie filling | 1 can (21 oz) |
| Cream cheese (softened) | 8 oz |
| Unsalted butter (melted) | 1/2 cup |
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
Step 2: Add the Lemon Filling
Spread the lemon pie filling evenly over the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Step 3: Add Cream Cheese
Spoon dollops of the softened cream cheese across the top of the lemon filling.
Step 4: Add Cake Mix
Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix over everything, making sure to cover the entire surface.
Step 5: Pour the Butter
Evenly drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix. Try to moisten as much of the surface as possible.
Step 6: Bake
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.
Step 7: Cool & Serve
Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Optional Serving Tip: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a swirl of whipped cream for an extra treat!
