Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Step 2: Add Flavor
Stir in the taco seasoning and the diced tomatoes with green chiles. Simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend, then remove from heat.
Step 3: Mix the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese with the ranch dressing, then fold this mixture into the seasoned beef until well combined.
Step 4: Fill the Shells
Spoon the prepared mixture into the frozen phyllo tart shells. If preparing ahead, you can freeze them at this stage.
Step 5: Bake
Place the filled shells on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or 10 to 13 minutes if baking from frozen, until heated through and lightly golden.
Step 6: Serve
