Key Lime Pie

Key Lime Pie

Enjoy a bright burst of citrus with this timeless Key Lime Pie. The creamy, tangy filling paired with a buttery graham cracker crust makes this dessert refreshing, simple, and perfect for any gathering—from everyday treats to special celebrations.

Ingredients

IngredientQuantity
Sweetened condensed milk3 cups
Key lime juice¾ cup
Sour cream½ cup
Grated lime zest1 tablespoon
Prepared 9-inch graham cracker crust1

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven
Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Mix the filling
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and lime zest until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

3. Fill the crust
Pour the prepared filling into the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.

4. Bake
Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 5–8 minutes. Look for tiny bubbles forming around the edges—the center should be softly set but still slightly jiggly.

5. Cool and refrigerate
Let the pie cool on a wire rack, then chill it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.

6. Serve
Top with whipped cream and lime slices if you like, then slice and enjoy.
