These low-carb baked hot dog burnt ends make a flavorful, satisfying snack or appetizer. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in smoky BBQ sauce, they’re perfect for any gathering.

Low-Carb Baked Hot Dog Burnt Ends

Ingredients

  • All-beef hot dogs – 8
  • Sugar-free BBQ sauce – ¼ cup
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven

Set the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Slice Hot Dogs

Cut each hot dog into 4–5 pieces.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar-free BBQ sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Step 4: Coat Hot Dogs

Toss the hot dog pieces in the sauce mixture until fully coated.

Step 5: Bake

Arrange the coated hot dogs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden, crispy, and caramelized.

Step 6: Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
