Cream Cheese Baked Spaghetti Casserole

When the temperatures drop and the air gets that crisp edge, I immediately start craving the kind of comfort food that warms you from the inside out. And honestly, few dishes deliver that cozy, cheesy satisfaction better than this Cream Cheese Spaghetti Bake.

I still remember the first time I made it. I wasn’t sold on the idea of stirring cream cheese into hot pasta—I figured it would be bland or too heavy. But once I tasted it, I was hooked. The cream cheese melts into a velvety sauce that clings to every strand of spaghetti. Add savory seasoned meat, bright marinara, and a blanket of melted cheese on top, and you’ve got a casserole that’s impossible to resist.

It quickly earned a permanent spot in my dinner rotation—perfect for busy evenings, potluck gatherings, family meals, or anytime you want something hearty and soul-soothing. And the best part? It reheats wonderfully, so leftovers are just as satisfying.

Cream Cheese Spaghetti Bake

📝 Ingredients

Ingredient | Amount

Marinara or spaghetti sauce | 1 jar (24 oz)
Ground beef or turkey | 1 lb
Italian seasoning | 1 tsp
Garlic, minced | 1 clove
Cream cheese, softened & cubed | 8 oz
Grated Parmesan | ½ cup
Shredded mozzarella | 2 cups

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Cook the pasta

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Boil the spaghetti until al dente, drain it, and return it to the pot.

Make the creamy base

  • Add the cream cheese cubes to the warm pasta.
  • Stir until the cream cheese melts and coats the noodles smoothly.

Prepare the meat sauce

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the garlic and Italian seasoning; cook for about a minute.
  • Pour in the marinara and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.

Assemble the casserole

  • Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Add the cream cheese spaghetti in an even layer over the top.
  • Spoon the remaining meat sauce over the pasta.
  • Finish by sprinkling the mozzarella and Parmesan evenly across the surface.

Bake & enjoy

  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before digging in.
