Forgotten Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Preheat and Prepare
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously butter a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.

2. Make the Rice Mixture
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and one can of water. Add the minute rice and mix until well combined.

3. Assemble the Casserole
Spread the rice mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange the chicken breasts on top in a single layer, then sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.

4. Bake
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for approximately 90 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the rice has absorbed the liquid.
