Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Cobbler

Craving a cozy dessert with the warm flavors of snickerdoodle cookies and a gooey fruit-like sauce? This Snickerdoodle Cobbler delivers sweet, comforting goodness with minimal effort—a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients:

IngredientQuantity
Unsalted Butter½ cup
All-Purpose Flour1 ½ cups
Granulated Sugar¾ cup
Baking Powder2 tsp
Salt¼ tsp
Whole Milk1 cup
Vanilla Extract1 tsp
Ground Cinnamon1 ½ tsp
Light Brown Sugar1 ½ cups
Hot Water1 ¾ cups

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Butter Base
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it melt in the oven.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Make the Batter
    • Gradually stir in milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine Batter and Butter
    • Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir—it will form the base for the cobbler.
  5. Add Snickerdoodle Topping
    • In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle evenly over the batter without stirring.
  6. Add Hot Water
    • Slowly pour hot water over the mixture, keeping layers undisturbed. This will create a caramel-like sauce as it bakes.
  7. Bake
    • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the cobbler is golden brown and set.
  8. Cool and Serve
    • Allow to cool at least 15 minutes for the sauce to thicken slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
