Dive into the sweet simplicity of these Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls, a homemade treat that’s both crunchy and chocolatey. With the creamy flavor of peanut butter, the crispiness of Rice Krispies, and a rich chocolate coating, they’re perfect for festive occasions or just a satisfying snack at home.

Ingredients:

IngredientAmount
Peanut Butter½ cup
Soft Butter3 tbsp
Vanilla Extract1 tsp
Rice Krispies1 cup
Chopped Pecans½ cup
Shredded Coconut1 cup
Chocolate Chips1 package
Sweet Chocolate (square)1 square

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, soft butter, vanilla, Rice Krispies, chopped pecans, and shredded coconut. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Once firm, shape the mixture into bite-sized balls. Return them to the fridge to chill for another hour.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and sweet chocolate together in a double boiler over low heat, keeping the chocolate smooth and soft.
  4. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat evenly. Place on parchment paper.
  5. Let the chocolate set in the fridge until firm. For longer storage, freeze them and dip in chocolate when ready to serve.
