Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet

This one-pan dish combines hearty steak and flavorful potatoes, seasoned with garlic and herbs for a comforting dinner any night of the week.


Ingredients

Sirloin Steak1 ½ pounds, thinly sliced
Baby Potatoes1 pound, halved
Unsalted Butter4 tablespoons, divided
Garlic4 cloves, minced
Dried Thyme1 teaspoon
Dried Rosemary1 teaspoon
Salt & Black PepperTo taste
Fresh ParsleyChopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned and cooked to your preference. Transfer the steak to a plate and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the halved baby potatoes in a single layer. Sprinkle garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.
  3. Cook the potatoes for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
  4. Return the steak to the skillet and toss everything together for 1–2 minutes so the flavors meld.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
