Pineapple Bake
Ingredients:

  • Crushed pineapple (with juice) – 1 can (20 oz)
  • Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Eggs – 2
  • Cornstarch – 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons
  • Butter (cut into small pats) – 1 1/2 tablespoons
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon

How to Make Pineapple Bake:

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare the Pan
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Mix the Filling
In a mixing bowl, stir together the crushed pineapple (with all the juice), sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.

Step 3: Assemble
Pour the pineapple mixture into the greased baking dish. Dot the top with butter and sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the surface.

Step 4: Bake It
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center has set.

Step 5: Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm—delicious on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
