I’ve never made sausages this way before, but it completely changes everything

These Oven-Baked Honey Garlic Sausages are a quick, flavorful choice for weeknight dinners. The honey and soy sauce create a sticky, savory-sweet glaze that caramelizes perfectly, while tender onions add extra richness.

Oven-Baked Honey Garlic Sausages

Ingredients

  • Pork or beef sausages – 8
  • Honey – 1/4 cup
  • Soy sauce – 3 tablespoons
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves, minced – 4
  • Medium onion, thinly sliced – 1
  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven
Set oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2: Arrange Sausages
Place the sausages in a baking dish or foil pan in a single layer for even cooking.

Step 3: Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper until smooth.

Step 4: Coat Sausages and Add Onions
Pour the glaze over the sausages, turning to coat each one. Scatter the sliced onions around the pan to cook in the sauce.

Step 5: Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning the sausages halfway through so they brown evenly and the glaze thickens.

Step 6: Rest and Serve
Remove from the oven and let the sausages rest a few minutes as the glaze sets. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
