Ingredients:
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Unsalted Butter | ½ cup |
| All-Purpose Flour | 1 ½ cups |
| Granulated Sugar | ¾ cup |
| Baking Powder | 2 tsp |
| Salt | ¼ tsp |
| Whole Milk | 1 cup |
| Vanilla Extract | 1 tsp |
| Ground Cinnamon | 1 ½ tsp |
| Light Brown Sugar | 1 ½ cups |
| Hot Water | 1 ¾ cups |
Instructions:
- Prepare the Butter Base
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it melt in the oven.
- Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- Make the Batter
- Gradually stir in milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine Batter and Butter
- Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir—it will form the base for the cobbler.
- Add Snickerdoodle Topping
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle evenly over the batter without stirring.
- Add Hot Water
- Slowly pour hot water over the mixture, keeping layers undisturbed. This will create a caramel-like sauce as it bakes.

- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the cobbler is golden brown and set.
- Cool and Serve
- Allow to cool at least 15 minutes for the sauce to thicken slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
