This cozy, old-fashioned casserole stacks savory ground meat and vegetables in a creamy base, then tops everything with a crunchy layer of tater tots and melted cheddar for the perfect comfort dish.

Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Cook the Meat

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until no longer pink, then drain the excess fat.

Step 2: Combine the Filling

Stir the cream soup into the cooked meat until smooth and well mixed. Add the chopped broccoli and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Create the Base Layer

Spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly across a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 4: Add Cheese & Tater Tots

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the filling. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single, even layer on top.

Step 5: Bake the Casserole

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the filling is hot and bubbly.
