Instructions:
Step 1: Cream the Butter and Sugar
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and eggs together until smooth and creamy.
Step 2: Make the Batter
Stir in the buttermilk, flour, and baking soda until fully incorporated.
Step 3: Prepare the Pans
Grease two loaf pans. Pour half of the batter into each pan.
Step 4: Make the Cinnamon Mixture
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Step 5: Layer and Swirl
Sprinkle about three-quarters of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter. Add the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture. Use a knife to gently swirl the layers for a marbled effect.
Step 6: Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Cool and Serve
Allow the loaves to cool in the pans for about 20 minutes before removing. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
